In-Depth Cremo Cologne Reviews
Cremo Bourbon & Oak Cologne Spray
Cremo Bourbon & Oak Cologne Spray Review
If you are seeking an inexpensive, manly fragrance with an uncommon yet exciting aroma, I would highly recommend trying Cremo’s Bourbon & Oak cologne.
This cologne is a genuine classic, its luxurious 2017 formulation comprises a stylish blend of warm spiciness, oak, and smoky bourbon accords, resulting in a really gorgeous scent.
Sweet, in a woodsy, boozy way, this attractive cologne smells pretty expensive, which is a plus since it’s actually quite affordable. Bourbon notes start off the delicious, spicy opening, followed by dry vanilla, while oak notes form the base.
This fragrance projects well. It’s also quite strong, so you don’t want to spritz it on too liberally. Fortunately, wearing Cremo Bourbon & Oak sparingly makes it last longer. It’s suitable for any occasion in any season and makes the perfect gift, even as a blind buy, since it’s super likable.
Top Notes: Spicy notes
Middle Notes: Whiskey
Base Notes: Oak

Cremo Silver Water & Birch Cologne
Cremo Silver Water & Birch Cologne Review
Cremo Silver Water & Birch is a light, sophisticated fragrance, perfect for a confident guy out to impress. Launched in 2017, the cologne features a clean, crisp aroma with a masculine edge and smells “high-quality.”
This aquatic, woody scent transports me to the mountains, sitting at the edge of a beautiful stream. A smoky, leathery vibe from the birch wafts through strongly when you inhale the cologne.
The scent boasts a citrusy opening and a deep, warm, woody heart with an earthy undertone. Musky and sweet notes form the base, creating the perfect cologne for everyday wear.
This refreshing scent is very similar to Creed’s Silver Mountain Water but performance-wise, it outshines the Creed for me. I get a solid 4 to 5 hours, which is longer than the Creed’s 4 hours on my skin.
Top Notes: Water notes
Middle Notes: Oakmoss
Base Notes: Woody notes, Birch
What we liked
- Smells clean, fresh, and bright
- Great staying power
- Excellent for daily wear
Cremo Distiller's Blend Cologne
Cremo Distiller's Blend Cologne Review
Cremo Distiller’s Blend Cologne (2020) forms part of the Reserve Collection and is for me one of Cremo’s best scents.
The masculine composition comprises premium ingredients, including Kentucky bourbon, American oak, and green vetiver, all guaranteed to enhance your scent experience.
The initial spray hits you with a clean and fresh vibe, with prominent notes of the Kentucky bourbon and a touch of smoke vetiver. It’s smooth, which is not what I expected with the oak in the mix, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Unmistakably Cremo, this fragrance bowled me over. It’s the perfect manly cologne, neither too strong nor too subtle. Additionally, it has the right touch of woody aroma to make you feel and smell like the real deal.
It’s an everyday scent that can easily become a signature fragrance. The top notes dominate initially, and the fresh notes really develop over time.
Top Notes: Vetiver, Bourbon whiskey, Oak.
What we liked
- Incredible Woody Hints
- Clean and Fresh Fragrance
- Great summer/spring fragrance
Cremo Citrus Mint Leaf Cologne Spray
Cremo Citrus Mint Leaf Cologne Spray Review
This relatively new Cremo perfume is a unisex, citrus aromatic fragrance. Released in 2020, it comprises notes from citron, cedar, fresh mint, and moss.
The cologne opens bright and sparkly in a clean, fresh burst, drying down to an enjoyable, relaxed woodsy vibe. The mint leaf plays a prominent role in this formulation, giving it a pleasant aroma.
I couldn’t help but notice a striking similarity to Cremo’s Iced Citron and Driftwood, but overall I did prefer this scent and it lasted a little longer on the skin.
Fresh and clean, Cremo Citrus Mint Leaf cologne releases a subtle scent that makes a perfect accompaniment to a special date. The subtle and clean notes would definitely make it a good everyday or office cologne too.
Top Notes: Citron
Middle Notes: Mint leaf
Base Notes: Cedar, Moss
What we liked
- Fresh Everyday Fragrance
- Versatile for seasonal wear
- Light but great longevity
Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla
Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla Review
This is the most preferred of all Cremo colognes and the best-smelling. The scent boasts an excellent blend of spicy accords with woody undertones. Simply put, it is intense, sensual, and deeply masculine.
This well-blended formulation of the Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla commands mass appeal owing to its quality and superb performance.
I personally love the cologne’s scent profile, while others think it makes a great addition to their fragrance collection – mainly because it’s available at a great price point. It doesn’t hurt that it’s pretty similar to the beloved Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb either.
The EDT’s opening is a fresh spicy blast accompanied by an underlying sweetness and subtle boozy elements. It projects powerfully and lasts long — you’ll like this number if you enjoy spicy vanilla scents.
The one downside I have with this cologne is that its quite unsuitable to wear in warmer weather, the scent becomes a bit overwhelming and suits cooler seasons much better.
Top Notes: Cardamom
Middle Notes: Cashmere wood
Base Notes: Bourbon, Vanilla, Vetiver
What we liked
- Great price point
- Long-lasting
- Adventurous scent
