The house of Dior is synonymous with class and known to have some of the best timeless creations both for men and women.
Always hitting the right notes at the right time, Dior is inevitably one of the most popular fragrances in the world.
What sets Dior apart from other designers is the wide range of scents they offer that appeal to almost any and every taste. From fruity and floral to musky and woodsy, there’s a Dior perfume for everyone.
That’s why we put together this guide to the best Dior perfumes, to help you navigate the Christian Dior collection to find your next fragrance.
What are the Best Dior Perfumes?
How to Find The Best Dior Perfume for You
The Dior collection can easily be divided into three collections according to our analysis.
Timeless Classics: This collection includes all the names that we’re all familiar with, the fragrances that earned their reputation due to how long they’ve been around, and their flawless complexions.
LA COLLECTION PRIVÉE: Dior’s experiment collection for nature-inspired scents, including but not limited to florals, wood, and one of the best Oud fragrances from Dior.
Modern Takes: includes Dior’s new releases of different fragrances, some deemed good and others not so reputable. This segment of Bio Perfumes covers almost everything the other two don’t.
However, if there’s a Dior perfume on your mind as you’re reading this, that doesn’t fall into one of these segments, then it’s probably not worth including, and you certainly won’t find it on our list of the best Dior perfumes for her.
How I Tested and Selected The Best Dior Perfumes
With such an extensive collection of high-quality, amazingly-smelling perfumes, it can be difficult to make up your mind about one single Dior perfume.
That’s why we test Dior perfumes with a lengthy process. I have trialed all of the fragrances to help you choose which fragrance aligns with your preferences and is actually worth the money you’re about to drop on it.
But along with the fragrance itself, there’s another variable to this equation: your body chemistry.
Everyone’s chemistry is different, meaning that even if you choose the “best” perfume out of all the ones available, someone else could wear it and not like the smell at all.
That’s why ScentSelective and the team took the time to test each fragrance on each team member and based the ultimate decisions upon everyone’s final conclusion.
In-Depth Dior Perfume Reviews
Dior Addict Eau de Parfum
Dior Addict Eau de Parfum Review
A vibrant oriental, Dior Addict Eau de Parfum indulges the senses with a sumptuous silk tree flower, voluptuous night queen flower, and luscious bourbon vanilla combined with sandalwood and tonka bean to evoke a feeling of passion in the daringly sexy woman who wears it.
As the scent settles into your skin, however, a sensual powdery undertone makes its appearance.
Dior Addict offers a gender-fluid experience, like a drag queen of scents, embracing heightened elements of makeup, hair, and attire.
Certainly one of my favorite Dior perfumes, and I highly recommend it, especially for mid-age women, and regular evening wear.
While Dior Addict may not have fit the trends of its time, I find it to be an underrated gem in the current Dior lineup. It’s worth checking out for its boldness, vanillic richness, and the touch of Thierry Vasseur’s green signature.
Top Notes: Mandarin Leaf Orange blossom, Powdery notes, Along with sparkling citrus notes
Middle Notes: Sambac jasmine
Base Notes: Vanilla, Bourbon, Sandalwood

Miss Dior Eau De Parfum
Miss Dior Eau De Parfum Review
Miss Dior is the famous signature scent that has been around ever since Christian Dior perfumes started taking over the market, this is the 2021 updated Miss Dior fragrance.
Undoubtedly one of the best Dior perfumes, Miss Dior has been around since 1947 and continues to be one of the most popular perfumes today. It just goes to show you that classics never go out of style.
Like the classic Miss Dior, the praline note is still there, but it’s not as dominant as I expected. The fragrance leans towards a more floral profile, with hints of violet, peony, and a fruity undertone, possibly peach. The citrus notes add a fresh touch.
Comparing it to Absolutely Blooming, I find this new release sweeter and more floral, making it suitable for a younger audience. The lilac-gray packaging reflects the change, and I appreciate the subtle differences in the bottle design.
Perfect for absolutely every season, Miss Dior can easily be your only signature fragrance, that will never annoy or bother you upon spraying in moderation.
Top Notes: Iris, Peony, Lily of the valley
Middle Notes: Apricot, Rose, Peach
Base Notes: Vanilla, Musk, Tonka Bean, Benzoin, Sandalwood

Dior Oud Ispahan
Dior Oud Ispahan Review
A very unique, intense fragrance which is not necesserily for everyone. But people who love the oud and rose combo will love Dior Oud Ispahan.
A sophisticated Sheikh’s fragrance, the essence of Grasse rose, and Damascus rose will remain lingering and will only get better as the fragrance dries down.
After Oud Ispahan dries down, you can smell sandalwood, oud, and rose. I get so many compliments when I wear this perfume.
This fragrance is a winter powerhouse. It starts floral and evolves into a bold, long-lasting scent. I’d describe it as not for the faint-hearted – one or two sprays are enough.
The projection is intense, and the longevity is the most insane I’ve experienced. It’s a complex and layered scent, reminiscent of Santa Royale, and I’m genuinely impressed.
A wintertime delicacy for its hefty price tag and status as a unique addition to the Dior collection Oud Ispahan is like that special collector’s item that you don’t come across every day.
Top Notes: Labdanum
Middle Notes: Rose, Patchouli, Saffron
Base Notes: Agarwood, Sandalwood, Cedar
What we liked
- Bold and Loud
- Sophisticated incense base
- Warm and hugging in -10 winters
Dior J’adore Eau De Parfum
Dior J’adore Eau De Parfum Review
A fragrance everyone has smelled before, and nothing smells as simplistic and original as Dior J’adore one of the oldest Dior perfumes for women.
Similar to the Miss Dior perfume, this Dior perfume is one that paved the way for numerous flankers to be introduced Dior J’adore is light expressive and dominated by floral notes.
This new version maintains that classic J’adore DNA but with a different formulation. It still carries the familiar white floral, especially jasmine and lily of the valley, along with a hint of fresh greenness reminiscent of the original’s fruity top notes.
As for longevity, it performs like a good-quality eau de toilette – not overly heavy but certainly present. I can still smell it on myself after some time, making it suitable for warmer weather or travel.
In conclusion, this alcohol-free J’adore is Silky approved for its classy presentation and familiar, elegant fragrance. If you’re a fan of the original or enjoy feminine florals, it’s a safe bet.

Middle Notes: Jasmine, Lily of the valley, Tuberose, Plum

Dior Vanilla Diorama Eau de Parfum
Dior Vanilla Diorama Eau de Parfum Review
Another unique fragrance you probably won’t find on any other list of the best Dior fragrances for women. Dior Vanilla Diorama is a unique, sweet earthy fragrance.
Warm, hugging, and perfect for the fall and winter, the boozy sweet scent shifts romantically with its notes of Venezuelan tonka bean, to a mesmerizing scent of soft vanilla.
This is a perfume that settles somewhere between delicious gourmand notes and a potent amber base, that accompanies a bold tangy opening.
Adding to the unique complexion is a slight tint of sandalwood adding a subtle tobacco-like note at its dry down, that gives the scent its sophistication.
The fragrance projects moderately for about four hours, reaching an arm’s length. Longevity is around six hours, transitioning into a skin scent. Despite not being a longevity powerhouse, I catch unexpected whiffs, especially when sprayed on clothes.
Top Notes: Blood orange, Pink Pepper, Lemon
Middle Notes: Rum, Cacao, Cardamom
Base Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla Bourbon, Sandalwood
What we liked
- Content with excellent sillage
- Boozy and playful
- Unisex yet perfectly sensual
Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de toilette
Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de toilette Review
The Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de toilette has a very green and fresh smell because of the citrus that has been used as well as the floral scent of violet. It also has a musky smell which is what makes it perfect for all seasons.
The scent is characterized by flowery notes of jasmine, peony, lily of the valley, and rose. The scent is so carefully blended with soft and velvety woods, fruits, and vanilla tones that create a truly delicate scent that is both comforting and elegant.
This fragrance is perfect for various occasions—it’s great for work, versatile across age groups, incredibly feminine, and exudes a romantic vibe.
It’s not overly fresh or overwhelming but strikes a lovely floral balance. Initially, there’s a burst of intense florals, but it quickly settles into a clear, lasting scent.
Best worn in the fall or winter, Dior Miss Eau de Parfum by Christian Dior can become slightly overpowering when over-sprayed in the summer.
Top Notes: Pink Peony, Damask Rose, Apricot, Peach
Middle Notes: Sicilian Mandarin,, Sweet and sour grapefruit
Base Notes: White Musk notes, Light pink pepper
What we liked
- Light summery aura
- Sophisticated yet youthful and fresh
- Easy to wear casually
Dior Hypnotic Poison EDP
Dior Hypnotic Poison EDP Review
Sensual, sweet, and perfect for every age, this fragrance for her by Dior checks every box to make this list as one of the best Dior perfumes.
The bottle, a tantalizing blood-red, with hints of black, is mesmerizing. It reminds me of a vampire’s concoction, like blood in an ampoule, especially when backlit, creating a stunning effect.
The fragrance boasts licorice, almonds, orange blossom, jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, and tonka bean.
While some detect licorice, to me, it leans more towards a cherry candy note. This evolves into something powdery, with a subtle iris tone, reminiscent of an 80s candy that’s hard to pinpoint.
Although this fragrance does indeed rank amongst the most classical and popular fragrances from the brand I did rank it last for a good reason.
The complexion is nothing new, and can easily be replaced by other alternatives, such as Fiore del Dragone by Tesoro d’Oriente, which is certainly a brand you need to explore if you’re not familiar with.
Top Notes: Coconut, Plum, Apricot, Ylang ylang
Middle Notes: Brazilian, Rosewood, Jasmine, Caraway, Tuberose
Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Almond, Vanilla
What we liked
- Ever-changing notes
- Sensual and smooth
- Easy to wear casually
