If there is one thing that defines the House of Creed, it is unrivaled craftsmanship. The company is passionate about the quality of its products and only uses the finest, often handpicked ingredients when formulating fragrances.

In this Creed in Love White review, we reveal all about this women’s fragrance. Is it worth splurging on? Keep reading to find out.

What’s the Story?

Like all Creed fragrances, Creed Love in White is produced following Creed’s exceptionally high standards in creating memorable scents. This perfume boasts hand-selected ingredients sourced across five continents.

Olivier and Erwin Creed are the noses behind the fragrance. The duo was inspired by the pleasure and freedom evoked by the simple act of sailing. Beyond this, the sensation of marine harmony was akin to the global cohesion brought about by traversing several continents, sourcing for the choicest essences.

Love in White is thus an amalgamation of scents from the four corners of the world. It contains Italian Orange peel, Egyptian iris, Calabrian ambergris, French Riviera narcissus, Tonkin rice, and Indian sandalwood, to name a few.

During its launch in 2005, White Creed received a rare honor—a tribute, as the entire Empire State Building got bathed in pure white lights.

Creed Boutique is immensely proud of its royal history. In fact, King George III is said to have commissioned Creed’s debut scent, Royal English Leather. Today, Creed is known for its wildly popular and best-selling fragrance, Aventus. And with 200+ colognes and perfumes under its belt, the luxury brand has every right to be proud.

Below is our impression of Creed’s Love in White.

Love in White Creed comes in a white bottle emblazoned with the unmistakable creed logo. Adorning the neck of the sleek, sculptured container is a beautiful silver ribbon. The scent is available in sizes ranging from 30, 75, 500, to 1000 ml (1.01, 2.5, 17, 88.8 ounces).

If you like the scent but are not ready to fork out a jaw-dropping amount of money, you can go for the smaller sizes. They also come in quite handy when traveling.

Angelic, intimate, and sophisticated are spot-on descriptors for White Creed. Incredibly romantic, the perfume hints at a wonderful sensuality hidden under a veil of powdery freshness.

This perfume is an artful combination of intoxicating floral accents from Bulgarian rose and iris flower (from Florence) with lighter notes featuring Italian orange blossom, French daffodils, sandalwood, Tonkin rice, magnolia, and vanilla.

It starts off pretty bold and strong. However, Love in White soon evolves into a subtle floral scent as lighter notes take the lead. The sharp opening gradually turns mesmerizing as the sparkling orange peel joins with jasmine and magnolia accords. Finally, everything blends sublimely into a warm, ambery dry-down, grounded by soft woodsy notes.

This is a polarizing perfume, and some people may not care for it. But the fresh citrusy blast followed by light florals is anything but offensive. However, some users claim the rice note feels somewhat off, while others find it clean-smelling and comforting. There are also those who think the fragrance is overpriced, and they can get a similar scent at a much lower price.

As a rule, Creed fragrances don’t disappoint when it comes to staying power. And Love in White is no exception to this. You will get 6-10 hours of solid wear from this classic, with fragrance lasting throughout your day or night.

This is a well-balanced fragrance—neither too flowery nor too spicy. While you are bound to attract attention because of its intense, delectable aroma, it’s not overpowering. In fact, what you will receive are compliments and lots of “what are you wearing?”

Moreover, the scent improves as time goes by. In other words, its aroma gets better with extended wear. As mentioned earlier, the opening is relatively strong, but after settling on your skin and absorbing some of your warmth, the fragrance evolves into the beautiful scent that it is.

This wonderfully elegant, soft floral fragrance is best worn in spring and summer. Its fresh, pleasant aroma matches the ocean breeze, while the orange blossom accents evoke memories of strolling through an orchard blooming with orange trees.

If you are seeking a scent for casual occasions, this is it. That notwithstanding, you can wear Love in White Creed perfume almost anywhere, as it has the sophistication and elegance to fit in most situations. And since it’s so romantic, it’s the perfect accessory for dates or special events.

Creed Boutique caters to the high-end market. The company also uses hand-picked, high-quality ingredients, so its scents are bound to have a high price tag. For instance, a 2.5-ounce (75ml) bottle of Love in White will cost upwards of $400. Still, should you decide to take the plunge and splurge, you can rest assured you are receiving a quality fragrance—it’s totally worth it!

Fortunately, if you are on a budget, you can still enjoy Creed Love in White if you opt for the smaller-sized bottle.
