The opening is quite subtle and pleasant, with the citruses (lemon in particular) being the most prominent. It’s very fresh and light but still quite natural-smelling. It also has some mintiness, which gives Capim-Limao an extra bit of coolness.
The dry-down is a bit more challenging to describe. The lemon has become somewhat softer, but it also has a nice touch of sharpness (probably from the Lemongrass). I also get some herbal notes and maybe a hint of ginger? The mintiness is still there but not as strong as in the opening.

It opens in a gust of aldehydes and citrus, and then it smells like a bouquet of fresh flowers that was just picked up from the garden. It’s very soapy, almost too much. But when it dries down, the soapiness calms down and the musky, woody notes become more apparent.
The top note is an indolic bouquet of white flowers, aldehydes, and citrus, with the tuberose and jasmine shining through the most. The heart of Caleche is a gorgeous floral fantasy of white flowers, lily-of-the-valley, rose, ylang-ylang, gardenia, lemon, and bergamot.
