In a Rush' Round-Up
How I Tested and Selected The Best Burberry Colognes
When exploring the various Burberry cologne options on the market, I applied different colognes on different days, observing how they evolved throughout the day.
I wore them to work, on casual outings, and even during special occasions, allowing me to gauge their suitability for various situations. I paid close attention to how the scents mingled with my skin’s natural chemistry and how long they lingered, ensuring they met my standards for longevity.
Price, of course, is a consideration, but I found that investing a bit more in a cologne with a superior scent, lasting power, and the right level of projection is truly worthwhile.
Some colognes work better during spring or summer months, while others are better in the fall or winter. It is also a good idea to look into how versatile a fragrance is and to read Burberry cologne reviews online.

Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him
Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him Review
Launched in 2013, Burberry Brit Rhythm for Him is an eau de toilette which falls into the category of leather fragrances, thanks to its strong black leather middle notes.
The fragrance has spicy and fresh qualities, I would recommend it as a top Burberry cologne for men and boys who are looking for something inoffensive to wear on a day-to-day basis.
Alongside its black leather middle notes, the fragrance has detectable basil, juniper berry and cardamom top notes, patchouli and styrax middle notes, and tonka bean, cedarwood and frankincense base notes.
The fragrance was created by Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion. After application, it lasted for several hours, but I would say it may require a re-application over the course of a full working day. The scent is extremely versatile and suitable for almost all occasions, including work, school, nights out, and leisure activities.
Top Notes: Basil, Juniper Berry, Cardamom
Middle Notes: Leather, Patchouli, Styrax
Base Notes: Cedarwood , Tonka Bean, Tonka Bean
What we liked
- Versatile, leather fragrance

Burberry for Men Classic
Burberry for Men Classic Review
Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum was released in 2017 and is intended to serve as a more intense version of the eau de toilette spray that exists under the same name. The fragrance itself was created by Francis Kurkdjian and is a woody, spicy, fresh cologne, with a lot of different detectable notes, especially in the opening stages.
The top notes include mint, tarragon and grapefruit, while middle notes include lavender, cedarwood, patchouli and nutmeg. Base notes, meanwhile, consist of amber, sandalwood, cinnamon and benzoin.
The cologne itself definitely offered longevity, it was a clean and fresh scent that I was complimented on during work and it seemed to last all day.
However, Id also say this particular Burberry cologne also great for during the evenings or on nights out due to its smart, sophisticated aroma.
Top Notes: Mint, Tarragon, Grapefruit, Cardamom
Middle Notes: Lavender, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Nutmeg
Base Notes: Amber, Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Benzoin
What we liked

Burberry London for Men
Burberry London for Men Review
Burberry London for Men is an eau de toilette spray, which was released back in 2006. A creation from Antoine Maisondieu, it is arguably the very best Burberry cologne for men during the fall and winter months.
I found the scent to be a blend of spice and amber, with detectable hints of tobacco leaf, lavender, and cinnamon notes adding depth and complexity. This sophisticated and elegant cologne resonates perfectly with my taste. It’s an ideal choice for mature men, offering a touch of refinement that suits various occasions seamlessly. Whether it’s for work, social gatherings, or more intimate moments.
The distinctive, refined smell associated with this Burberry cologne makes it one of my favorites from the brand. It performed well in terms of longevity, lasting upwards of six hours on my skin with optimal application. Furthermore, the cologne is well-regarded for the value for money.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Lavender, Cinnamon, Black Pepper
Middle Notes: Leather, Mimosa
Base Notes: Tobacco, Oakmoss, Opoponax
What we liked
- Distinctive, elegant scent

Burberry Touch for Men
Burberry Touch for Men Review
One of the longest-running Burberry cologne products on the market, Burberry Touch for Men is an eau de toilette spray that has been available since its launch in 2000. It is a woody, floral, musky cologne, and the main perfumer behind the fragrance is Jean-Pierre Bethouart.
Top notes include violet leaf and mandarin orange, while some of the most notable middle notes are white pepper and nutmeg. Base notes include tonka bean and white musk, and ultimately these different notes combine to create a pleasant scent, I enjoyed the scent, but I think it’s less versatile with large age ranges and more suitable for younger men.
The longevity of the product was solid, upon testing it definitely lasted through the whole day so is ideal if you are looking for a cologne to last long enough to get through a working day, or through school.
However, the scent is also excellent for use in the evenings and can be a good choice for nights out and other similar social occasions.
Top Notes: Violet Leaf, Mandarin Orange, Artemisia
Middle Notes: Cedarwood, Nutmeg, White Pepper
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, White Mus, Vetiver
What we liked
- Great starter cologne for young men
- Suitable for all age groups
- Pleasant scent, with decent longevity
Burberry Weekend Eau de Toilette
Burberry Weekend Eau de Toilette Review
Another classic fragrance, Burberry Weekend is an eau de toilette, which was introduced for the first time in 1997. It is a fresh, citrus scent, with sweet and fruity undertones.

Being aware of its subtle nature, I decided to test it on a casual day in the office. It proved to be a suitable companion for work environments, adding a touch of sophistication without overpowering the office atmosphere.
I also found it to be an excellent option for various social occasions, striking the right balance between presence and subtlety. Its versatile nature means it can seamlessly transition into my everyday routine, making it an ideal and adaptable cologne for any setting.
Some of the most detectable notes within the fragrance include lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, mandarin orange, ivy, oakmoss, amber, honey and musk. The cologne has relatively low sillage and good longevity.

This cologne stands out as a perfect blend of quality and affordability, making it my top choice among Burberry fragrances for those prioritizing value.
I was particularly impressed by its longevity; it lasted the entire day on multiple occasions, making it a reliable choice for long-lasting freshness. Additionally, its impressive projection levels allow for liberal application, ensuring the scent lasts throughout the day.
